FINANCE ANALYST
A new kind of finance role, with impact that matters.
We’re looking for a confident and curious Finance Analyst to help us turn good data into great decisions. This is a key role in our small and growing finance team, ideal for someone who enjoys using analysis, systems and insight to help others make better, faster and clearer financial decisions.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to strengthen reporting, support day-to-day operations, and help shape how we use data and systems as we evolve.
LOCATION: Hybrid / Onsite (North Chailey, BN8 4EF)
SALARY: £32k - £37k DOE
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 37 hours
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing and analysing monthly management accounts
- Supporting the month-end close and budgeting/forecasting cycles
- Building strong relationships with budget holders, acting as a trusted advisor
- Developing dashboards, reports and visual tools that add real value
- Working with the Finance Business Partner and Head of Finance to support decision-making and planning
- Improving reporting processes and promoting consistency and automation
- Supporting statutory accounts, audits and other compliance returns
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a financial analysis or management accounts role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused
- Able to work independently and explain financial information clearly
- Comfortable working in a changing environment with opportunities to shape and improve ways of working
- AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) (Desirable)
