Activities Coordinator – Residential Social Care
Location: North Chailey, East Sussex, BN8 4EF
Salary: £24,242 – £26,377 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time)

As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll bring joy, structure, and opportunity into each young adult’s daily life. From drama, music and art to swim sessions, gym workouts and day trips, you’ll create a rich, inclusive programme of activities using our fantastic on-site facilities and community links.
What you'll be doing:
Getting to know each young adult and designing personalised activity programmes around their interests
Leading engaging sessions — from arts and crafts to gardening, games, and cooking
Organising outings, community trips, and big events like Celebration Day and the Carol Service
Liaising with care teams and families to align activities with aspirations, progress, and transitions
Collaborating across CHF teams to tap into shared expertise and brilliant resources
What you'll bring:
Experience working in a care setting — ideally with young people with disabilities
A creative, proactive mindset — someone who sees opportunities and makes them happen
Strong organisational skills and confidence leading activities and events
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A minibus driving qualification — or willingness to train (bonus!)
