Position Overview

 

As an IT Services Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintenance for our internal users and systems. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to ensure that all IT-related issues are resolved promptly, and our internal IT infrastructure is well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to internal employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate with the MSP team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure the stability and security of IT systems.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts and access privileges.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of IT resources and assets.
  • Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications.
  • Document and maintain IT processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions. 

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in providing technical support and maintenance within an MSP or similar environment.
  • Proficiency with Windows and MacOS operating systems.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 

Working Pattern

  • Full time 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Salary £ 27,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
