Fitness Activities Coordinator

Location: North Chailey, East Sussex (BN8 4EF)

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Closing date: Monday 9 February

Deliver movement, creativity and confidence. Every session matters.

We’re looking for a Fitness Activities Coordinator to join our on-site Fitness Team, based within The Activity Place, a vibrant community centre supporting adults with disabilities to stay active, connected and engaged.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their fitness career who is keen to build experience in a specialist, inclusive environment.

About the role

As a Fitness Activities Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and delivery of engaging, person-centred activity sessions, including gym activities, games and Rebound Therapy.

You will:

  • Deliver inclusive fitness sessions, adapting activities to individual needs and goals
  • Work alongside Physiotherapists and colleagues to support safe progression
  • Help create positive, enjoyable experiences for people with complex disabilities
  • Maintain high standards of safety, customer care and record keeping
  • Contribute ideas to develop sessions and activities within The Activity Place

This is a hands-on role where energy, creativity and teamwork are key.

About you

You’ll be enthusiastic, caring and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in inclusive physical activity. You’ll also bring:

  • A recognised Level 3 Fitness qualification
  • Some experience working in a fitness or activity environment
  • A positive, patient and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An interest in supporting people with disabilities (experience welcomed, not essential)

Why join us?

We offer more than a role — we offer the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven organisation.

Alongside a competitive benefits package, we provide training, development and the chance to be part of a collaborative team delivering meaningful activity every day.
