SALARY: £27,388- £28,154*
HOURS: 37 hours per week, all year round (8am-8pm, 7 days a week/52 weeks a year)*

What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Aquatics Supervisor, you will support the Aquatics Manager in the effective operation of the Hydrotherapy pool. You will take responsibility for colleagues, ensuring the highest standard of care and safety.
- Deliver and support Aquatics Therapy sessions for young people with varying needs.
- Ensure poolside safety and maintain equipment according to safety procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate progress against therapy objectives, maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with personal care, including changing and showering before and after sessions.
- Collaborate with staff, therapists, and the nursing team to meet pupils' health and support needs.
- Ensure the pool environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries professionally.
- Support colleagues and train others in pupil handling during aquatic activities.
What You Bring to the Table:
Essential:
- GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- ASA/STA Level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualification.
- Previous experience working within a care setting.
- Previous experience in teaching/instruction.
- Supervisory experience.
- Swimming ability and an appropriate level of fitness to maintain the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Good awareness of Health and Safety issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership skills.
- IT and administration skills.
- Kind and caring disposition.
- Ability to work on a flexible shift rota
Other useful skills and experience:
- National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification.
- Pool Plant Operations Certificate.
- Lifeguarding experience.
- Previous experience within a leisure or club setting.
- Experience working with, teaching, or supporting individuals with disabilities or complex needs.
